It had to happen sooner or later. I have been asked several times if there are plans for DPN to run a regular readers’ photos feature. DPN is here to respond to its readers, where possible and as there seems to be enough demand, we’re going for it.

We’ll start with a monthly collection of photos, starting on 1st March. That’s only a week away, so get your skates on! Send your pictures (maximum 2 per person for the time being) to me via admin@dp-now.com. Unfortunately, submission of a photo cannot guarantee its inclusion in the published selection. All submissions will be acknowledged, though.

Copyright of all submissions will remain with the photographer and all pictures will be sized to fit DPN pages. This whole exercise is for fun and the satisfaction of sharing the results of your hobby (or even work, if you are a professional) with like-minded DPN readers. It’s unlikely that pictures will be copied for commercial gain by unscrupulous visitors, but it should be pointed out that there is little I can do to prevent this if it happens.

I’ll be devising a mechanism for readers to rate each month’s pictures and there will be a small prize for the most popular picture each month.

More details and formal advice for submissions will be featured on a feature page in a few days time.

So dust off those masterpieces now and send them to: admin@dp-now.com.
