If you would like to see your artistic endeavours on display for all to see, you can submit your favourite photos to us for possible inclusion in regularly updated galleries of readers’ photos.

The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment of each other’s photos, but we will be awarding a small prize to the owner of picture judged to be the top submission. This will start off on a monthly basis.

Terms and conditions for photo submission

The copyright and ownership of submitted photos remain with the photographer at all times, however, we cannot be held responsible for any third party making copies of online versions of such images and using them for their own purposes.
Photographs must not be submitted by anyone other than the owner of the photograph unless he or she has the permission of the photographer.
Photos will only be accepted in electronic form as JPEG images emailed using the nominated submission email address.
Submissions will be automatically acknowledge via email. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please try again as soon as possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for submissions that failed to reach us.
Images should be in JPEG form and no more than two images should be submitted per month, per person. We’d prefer it if submitted images were below 2MB in size, but as we also encourage you to send unaltered originals, we will leave this to your discretion.
Please include some simple notes with each image, including the type of camera used and some background to the subject.
If you used an Olympus digital camera to shoot your submitted photographs and would like to be considered for entry to an Olympus UK/Eire gallery and competition, you must indicate this in your picture notes.
Scanned images will be accepted, but they should be of photographic originals.
We reserve the right to re-size submitted images so that they may be displayed conveniently on our pages.
There is currently no specific subject category - you can submit photos of any subject you like (within reason!).
Only a selection of what we consider to be the best images submitted will be shown online and be eligible for any awards.
DPN is in the processing of devising a readership voting process to decide the winning picture, but until then the winner will be decided by a panel of judges arranged by the Editor.
The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence regarding the judgement will be entered into.
No photos will be accepted from any persons or friends of the those involved with the running and promotion of Digital Photography Now.
