Total Digital Photography magazine arrives

29th August - 2002

DP-Now is pleased to bring news of a brand new digital photography newsstand magazine here in the UK. Total Digital Photography (TDP) is available from today. The new magazine comes from Archant Specialist, who also publish Photography Monthly, Which Camera, Which Camera Digital, Panorama, BPI News and Professional Photographer.

The TDP editorial team will be a familiar one to any reader of What Digital Camera (WDC), which is published by IPC Media. Simon Joinson, Gavin Stoker, Stephanie Krahn and Doug Harman, all good friends of DP-Now, have moved from WDC to launch TDP. Taking their old places at WDC are Nigel Atherton and Jamie Harrison, with more appointments due soon.

TDP editor, Simon Joinson, commented: “Total Digital Photography has been developed after the team and I took a long hard look at the current crop of magazines on the market and listened to feedback from readers and the industry. The result is, we feel, a totally different digital photography magazine; one that will appeal to this new emerging audience of digital enthusiasts.”

Free with the launch issue of TDP is a 16-page supplement aimed at anyone trying out digital photography for the first time. There is also an interview with top society photographer and cousin of the Queen, Lord Lichfield and much more.

A new support Web site for TDP has been built and should be live any time now. Click on the link below for more information.
