The lightweight 3x optical and 2x digital zoom camera is ideal for all those consumers making the transition from traditional to digital photography. Featuring a lens at the centre of the camera body, this simple, user-friendly point-and-shoot interface offers users a familiar, trusted feel and a balance similar to that of conventional compact cameras. Main Features: Capture accurate high resolution prints with a 2.2 Megapixel CCD. The Caplio RR10 allows users at all levels of expertise to capture accurate, true colour photographs that can easily be printed on a home printer. Its 2.2 megapixel CCD (charge-coupled device) provides a range of image resolutions from 896 x 600 pixels up to an impressive 1792 x 1200 pixels. Users may also preselect one of three different compression settings - Fine, Normal, Basic - that are specifically designed to optimise varying output requirements.
Outstanding zoom range, clear 1.5 inch LCD. The Caplio RR120 features a 3x optical zoom lens (equivalent to 38 to 114 mm on a 35mm camera), plus an impressive 2x digital zoom, for a combined 6x zoom that allows users to zoom in on specifics within the picture. The bright 1.5 inch high-resolution TFT LCD provides an instant preview of photographs taken and can play them back in a handy slide show or display nine picture thumbnails.
USB interface. Caplio RR120 has an USB interface that makes is easy to transfer digital images to a PC. It also accepts SmartMedia cards of up to 128MB, which makes it capable of storing hundreds of images, depending on the compression and resolution selected.
Extensive photographic functionality. Its quick and accurate auto-focusing capabilities, automatic white balance and superb built-in flash (effective at a distance of up to 8 feet) make the Caplio RR120 a simple and user friendly digital camera. Additionally the Caplio RR120 boasts multi-mode functionality that delivers 16 continuous images in one frame, impressive 8cm macros, a selectable self-timer and a conveniently placed tripod hole at the bottom of the camera that gives photographers the ability to capture night-time pictures and creative works of art in its bulb mode. There is even a black and white option for those who like exploring the more classical angle of photography.
