DIY book publisher, Blurb, has been in touch to ask if two free photography events they are holding in London this week - with attendees even getting special discount vouchers, may be of interest, so here are the details:

They’re both organised by Blurb.co.uk ( @BlurbBooks ) and are taking place in Shoreditch, London on Wednesday 15 January 2014.

Both are completely free to attend, and are hosted by Blurb’s “Photographer at Large” Dan Milnor – who is a former newspaper, magazine and commercial photographer and lecturer at a number of art/photography colleges in the US. The events are:

Photo Book Seminar, 3-6pm: The Book Club, London, EC2A 4RH

o   Learn how to create a top-class photo book with Blurb expert, Dan Milnor. The three-hour training session will teach the amateur photographer anything from photo-taking up to book-making. Participants will also be provided with an exclusive Blurb discount code.
