cf/x AG today released version 2.0 of their immensely popular collagePRO application. Major new features are smarter auto-layout, and a powerful text layer that allows users to add captions, titles, notes, and other text anywhere on the collage.

collagePRO is an application to quickly create great-looking collages from photos. Features include smart auto-layout, unlimited photos per collage, exquisite color schemes, background control, and multiple shapes for photos (e.g. heart, star, etc.).

collagePRO allows users to build beautiful collages literally in seconds: its exceptionally strong automatic layout feature adapts an existing layout in real-time whenever any number of pictures are added or removed. Additionally, users can choose from a library of over one hundred profesionally designed templates to jump-start their art.

Once a design is finished, users can export to many different file formats, or share it with their friends, family and colleagues. cf/x collagePRO requires an Intel-based Mac with OSX 10.7 or above (Mavericks supported).

At the same time, cf/x have released a free 2014 calendar template bundle for collagePRO, which allows any user to quickly create personal calendars in no time. The templates are a free download from www.cfxsoftware.com/calendars

Updates from collagePRO 1.x to 2.x are free for all registered users.

collagePRO retails for USD 29.99 and is available from their web store www.cfxsoftware.com/collagepro (where a free demo can be downloaded) as well as Apple's Mac App Store. Owners of cf/x collage (standard version) can upgrade to the PRO version for $14.99, provided they purchased collage at cf/x's web store (upgrades are not available via Apple's Mac App Store).
