cf/x releases 'mosaic 2.0' & 'photo mosaic 2.0'

Zürich, Switzerland -- 2012-May-07. cf/x software today proudly announced major updates to their 'photo mosaic' and 'mosaic' graphic applications.

'cf/x mosaic' and it's blockbuster sister application 'cf/x photo mosaic' are applications that create either traditional tesserae-based mosaics, or image-from-images based mosaics from a source image.

The 2.0 update (free for all registered users) adds a host of significant features: new tile shapes, better frames, a complete interface overhaul, speed improvements and even larger output size (both apps now support 40x40 inch at 300 dpi as maximum size).

Most importantly, though, both apps received significantly enhanced capabilities in the way they handle Color ('mosaic') and Photos ('photo mosaic'):
- in 'mosaic' users now can interactively build their own color palette
