Nikon sample images from a V1

Although we have yet to take pictures of our own using either the new Nikon 1 compact system cameras, the V1 and J1, we do have some pictures provided by Nikon that were taken using the new cameras.

We have 52 pictures in all, although all have been reduced in size to to either 1.7 megapixels and 4.6 megapixels. Both the V1 and J1 have 10 megapixel sensors. A variety of ISO sensitivity settings and scene brightnesses have been used, and there is a high speed action sequence demonstrating one of the key features of the camera.

Many of these shots have been published in a photo book that was given to journalists who attended last week's launch event. In general the images have reproduced very well.
