NEW Nero multimedia software suite coming in October
Nero 11, the most powerful, easy-to-use Nero suite yet, makes the most of photos, videos and music
Karlsbad, Germany (September 13, 2011) – Nero 11, the new version of Nero’s multimedia software suite, is coming next month to help consumers make the most of their photos, videos and music.
The new suite includes the following applications:
- Nero Kwik Media for managing photos, music and videos, syncing content between PC and mobile devices and creating slideshows and photo products
- Nero Video 11 for producing video projects
- Nero Recode 11 for converting and optimising video files for playback on tablets, smart phones and other devices
- Nero SoundTrax and Nero WaveEditor for editing audio files
- Nero BackItUp 11 and Nero RescueAgent 11 for file and system back up and data recovery
- Nero Burning ROM 11, Nero Express and Nero CoverDesigner for creating CD, DVD and Blu-ray discs
The most noticeable improvement to Nero 11 is its usability. Each application was reconstructed to have a consistent look and feel that makes it easier to grasp and produce results faster. For instance, a new bridge application called Nero Kwik MediaBrowser unifies the suite and provides instant access to all of a user’s photos, videos and music files from every application. Easy-to-follow start screens provide at-a-glance overviews of each application’s capabilities and features.
Other new enhancements in Nero 11 include:
- Wirelessly sync photos, videos and iTunes songs between PCs and Android-powered smart phones and tablets
- Produce and order professionally printed photo books, calendars and greeting cards as personal keepsakes or to share with loved ones
- Instantly create and edit videos with a storyboard-based editor that provides multi-track flexibility and control without the complexity or steep learning curve
· Faster video encoding with enhanced GPU accelerated hardware encoding for NVIDIA Cuda, AMD App Accelerator and Intel Quick-Sync-Video graphics cards
- Convert and optimise video for playback on Android smart phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad, PSP, Playstation 3 and XBOX 360
- Configuration-free, one-click live back-up of an entire PC system
- Incremental drive backup support to save disc space and reduce back up time
Nero 11 and Nero 11 Platinum can be purchased at retail stores and online in early October 2011.
