Reuters Images Available Using PhotoBox Print Button Technology

Released by Photobox:

Reuters and PhotoBox Offer Access to Exclusive Photographic Prints

Award-winning UK online digital photography service, PhotoBox, has collaborated with Reuters, the leading provider of news photography, to allow consumers to buy Reuters pictures online.

From portraits of iconic women to the latest images from Iraq, the selection of pictures shows the breadth of Reuters coverage. Images can be ordered online and delivered direct to the customer’s doorstep. By visiting the Reuters website at www.reuters.com/pictures customers will be able to choose their desired image and, following a simple process, order pictures using PhotoBox’s proprietary technology ‘PrintButton.’

PrintButton is a simple yet powerful tool to add print ordering capabilities to an existing website. Orders are fulfilled by PhotoBox and dispatched to customers worldwide in the Reuters brand.

"We are delighted that Reuters has chosen PrintButton for their exciting new website. PhotoBox’s market leading position in digital photographic fulfilment allows us to now offer our print and technology services to corporate customers as well as consumers." said Graham Hobson, CEO of PhotoBox.

Monique Villa, SVP Reuters Media, said, “With strong demand for Reuters pictures, we are delighted that PhotoBox enables us to sell to the public for the first time. These are the first in a succession of pictures to be made available to buy online.”

Reuters prints are available from 12” x 8” to poster sizes, and priced between £35 and £70. A framing service will follow soon.
