Lastolite announce the launch of the new Joe McNally Range

April 20th 2011, Lastolite Limited, the world’s leading manufacturer of backgrounds and lighting control systems for the photo, video and cinema industry, has announced the launch of the new Joe McNally Range.

The Joe McNally range includes the following:

• Joe McNally Ezybox - Unlike the existing range of Ezybox Hotshoe softboxes, the Joe McNally version features a white interior which offers a softer, creamier level of diffusion. This softbox features two removable diffusion layers and is compatible with other Softbox accessories such as Grids and the Creative Mask Strips.
• Joe McNally TriFlash - Joe’s version of this product features unique rotating shoe mounts which allow you to position flashguns so that the IR receiver on the guns is always pointing to camera position, ensuring reliable off camera flash triggering, particularly in bright conditions.
• Joe McNally UpLite - The Joe McNally UpLite Kit is similar to the standard Lastolite UpLite ‘cool tone’, but has the added extra of including a 2 stop diffuser panel. The standard UpLite configuration can be used as an adjustable bounce reflector, however the additional diffuser panels turns the UpLite into an even more versatile product.
• Joe McNally TriGrip - The Joe McNally Skylite Kit contains a standard Lastolite 1.1m x 1.1m aluminium frame plus a new ‘slide on’ 2 stop diffuser panel. A telescopic crossbar assembly is also included which can support the Skylite frame and up to 4 flashguns on sliding show mounts which can be spaced apart or grouped together.
• Joe McNally SkyLite - The Joe McNally Skylite Kit contains a standard Lastolite 1.1m x 1.1m aluminium frame plus a new ‘slide on’ 2 stop diffuser panel. Lastolite Announce New Joe McNally Skylite Kit

The Joe McNally Skylite Kit contains a standard Lastolite 1.1m x 1.1m aluminium frame plus a new ‘slide on’ 2 stop diffuser panel. A telescopic crossbar assembly is also included which can support the Skylite frame and up to 4 flashguns on sliding show mounts which can be spaced apart or grouped together. The fully adjustable crossbar allows you to select the angle of the flashguns and their distance from the diffusion panel. The assembly easily attaches to a standard light stand (not included) making it an extremely versatile shoot through panel for strobists.

Lastolite Announce New Joe McNally UpLite Kit

The Joe McNally UpLite Kit is similar to the standard Lastolite UpLite ‘cool tone’, but has the added extra of including a 2 stop diffuser panel. The standard UpLite configuration can be used as an adjustable bounce reflector, however the additional diffuser panels turns the UpLite into an even more versatile product. By replacing the top reflector panel with the diffuser panel, and shooting one or more flashguns through the panel you will have a fully controllable diffused fill light.

Lastolite Announce New Joe McNally TriGrip

April 20th 2011, Lastolite Limited, the world’s leading manufacturer of backgrounds and lighting control systems for the photo, video and cinema industry, has announced the launch of the new Joe McNally TriGrip.

The Joe McNally 90cm TriGrip system features a 2-stop diffuser panel, a TriFlip reflector sleeve and a window mask sleeve. The reflector sleeve simply slides over the diffuser panel to create a bounce reflector, whilst the second sleeve is all black with a 54cm x 38cm cut out window opening to create a rectangular shoot through panel for battery operated flashguns. Two additional black panels are also included with this sleeve which can be used to alter the size and shape of the window to control how much and where the light falls on the subject.
