Manfrotto Launches 050 Centre Ball Head Series

London, March 2011 – Manfrotto announces the launch of its new 050 centre ball head series, designed to perfectly accompany carbon fibre tripods. The 057 and 054 ball heads offer the very best in smooth, measured movement and acute precision. The superior flexibility and ergonomics of the ball heads ensure that the professional photographer maintains complete control, upholding Manfrotto’s reputation for excellence in design.

The 057 and 054 series comprises a range of sizes and QR attachments designed to cater to individual needs, allowing photographers to choose freely according to their personal preferences and requirements. However, a number of features are common to all the heads throughout both ranges, namely an unwavering high quality, an elegant and innovative design, high tech features and the best materials. While guaranteeing a heavy-duty performance, the fully featured head comes in an improved lightweight form thanks to its magnesium composition, with a self lubricating ring ensuring ultra-smooth movement for greater precision and control.

The 050 ball head also has unique and innovative portrait functions, which offer the option of positioning the camera vertically at a perfect 90° angle or tilting the angle up to 105-110° when shooting from uneven ground.
