Manfrotto Distribution and Park Cameras team up at Rutland Bird Fair
Two historic photography brands team up to make Manfrotto Distrubution ranged products available to buy on-stand
20 May 2010 - Manfrotto Distribution is delighted to announce that it is teaming up with Rutland Bird Fair sponsor, Park Cameras, to sell photographic equipment direct from its stand at the show. The partnership means show-goers will be able to see the products ranged by Manfrotto Distribution on the stand and buy kit then and there - with expert help from the Manfrotto Distribution team who will be on hand to help them find the ideal solution.
The Rutland Bird Fair pitches its tents every August in the nature reserve at Rutland Water, and has grown since its launch in 1989 to be one of the UK’s biggest gatherings of bird-watchers. Over 20,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors make their way to the show every year. Bird-watching lends itself naturally to photography and so a huge proportion of the show’s attendees are also very skilled photography lovers.
The Manfrotto Distribution stand at Rutland will feature ground-breaking products including the new specialist bird-watching Gitzo GH1720QR and GH2720QR two-way fluid tripod heads, and other photography equipment from brands including Manfrotto itself.
Commenting on teaming up with Park Cameras, Vic Solomon of Manfrotto Distribution said: “Manfrotto Distribution and Park Cameras seemed a natural fit. Of course many visitors to the show are going to want to buy product that they see on the stand - looking at new kit and adding to it is usually a big reason for attending a show like Rutland. So, with our history at the show, and in celebration of Park Camera’s sponsorship of it, we thought it a really good idea.”
Reg Atkins, Owner of Park Cameras said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the show and looking forward to a busy stand. It’ll be great to team up with the Manfrotto Distribution team, combining our expert knowledge to help visitors to the show make the right purchase choices.”
