Alien Skin announces Eye Candy 6

Alien Skin announce that version 6 of Eye Candy will be out in early December. Graphic designers use Eye Candy to make slick realistic effects that are often used on titles, logos, and Web pages.

The biggest improvements are in ease of use. Eye Candy 6 has over 1500 carefully designed presets. They are now organized into categories and each one adapts to fit the size of your current image. Non-destructive editing is supported through Photoshop Smart Filters and rendering effects on a new layer. Multi-core CPUs are supported for speed. 64-bit Photoshop is supported, which can take advantage of large amounts of memory.

All three Eye Candy 5 products (Impact, Nature, and Textures) will be merged into Eye Candy 6, giving it 30 filters. Free upgrades will automatically be sent to purchasers of the Eye Candy 5 Bundle who purchased after October 11, 2009. Eye Candy 6 will sell for $249, so this is a way for you to save $50 if you act soon. Owners of any version of Eye Candy will be able to upgrade for $99.
