Sakar announces First KODAK-Branded Digital Photo Keychain

First KODAK-Branded Digital Photo Keychain Ready to ‘Smile’

Extra-Bright Portable Digital Photo Viewer from Sakar Set for September Release

EDISON, NJ — Fresh on the heels of Kodak’s new “It’s Time to Smile” marketing campaign comes the KODAK Smile G150 Digital Photo Keychain from Sakar International. This pocket-sized digital viewer measures up to Kodak’s reputation for quality with a capacity of more than 100 images, an extra-bright 1.5” LCD screen, and built-in software enabling plug-and-play use. It also reinforces Kodak’s commitment to unleash the power of images to help people stay emotionally connected with friends and family.

The new KODAK-branded portable photo viewer makes it possible to keep favorite photos on hand at all times. Images are rendered in crisp detail on an LCD engineered to be two to three times brighter than standard products, and can display either one at a time or in a slideshow.

The built-in photo upload software eliminates the need to install a third-party program, making it easy to transfer photos from your PC or Mac. Simply plug the device into your computer’s USB port, and the Photo Uploader (for PCs) or DPKMate (for Macs) will open automatically to your My Pictures folder or file directory depending on your operating system. Images can also be resized, rotated, cropped, and changed to a different text and/or background color from the easy-to-use interface.

The KODAK Smile G150 Digital Photo Keychain will be available in black, gray, red, blue and silver at major retailers in late September for an MSRP of $29.99. It is compatible with Windows XP/Vista and Mac OS 10.4.6 or later; comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for roughly two hours when fully charged; and includes a USB cable and printed manual.

The product is the first to be released under a license agreement between Kodak and Sakar that was announced in March. It will be followed in Q4 by a series of KODAK-branded webcams offering special features for social media connectivity.
