At 56 mm wide, the Leaf Aptus-II 10 features the widest sensor of any digital camera back
La Hulpe, Belgium, April 7, 2009 – Leaf, developer of the world's most advanced medium format digital camera systems and digital backs, today started delivery of the new Leaf Aptus‑II 10medium format digital camera back. The Leaf Aptus-II 10 digital camera back delivers extraordinary image quality and the speed that the world's top photographers demand. It joins the 33 megapixel Leaf Aptus-II 7 and 28 megapixel Leaf Aptus-II 6 which debuted at Photokina last September.
All Leaf Aptus-II models are compatible with over 80 different medium and large format cameras and feature 'film-like' image quality with 12 stop dynamic range, extremely accurate color reproduction and spectacular detail in highlights and deep shadows. In addition to a list of features that enhance image quality, performance and ease-of-use, the Leaf Aptus-II also sports a 6x7cm high-contrast touch screen and delivers ultra fast image transfer speeds taking advantage of the fastest CF cards for portable and Firewire 800 support for tethered shooting.

Shipping along with the Leaf Aptus-II 10 is a new version of Leaf Capture (v.11.2.6), the free image editing and workflow management software from Leaf which supports the advanced features of the Leaf Aptus-II 10 back and Leaf AFi-II 10 camera system. Leaf Capture 11.2.6 is also available for download for free on the Leaf website (www.leaf-photography.com/support/downloads).
Leaf optimized the digital image quality of the Leaf Aptus-II 10, and focused on incorporating key components that ensure maximum ease-of-use and performance. The Leaf Aptus-II 10 is available for Mamiya, Contax and Hasselblad interfaces. The Leaf Aptus-II 10can also be used with view cameras using RZ and Graflok adaptors, as well as additional view camera adaptors developed by third party vendors.
