VZT8320 is the latest-generation model from Tekxon's line of multimedia digital video camcorder products. Tekxon’s first high definition (HD Ready) product V5200HD was one of the world's first H.264 high definition digital video camera capable of 5-mega pixel still image and has been made available in the market since early 2008. Tekxon has now upgraded its high definition product to VZT8320, an H.264 video camcorder capable of shooting digital video for up to 30fps in 1920x1080p video and it doubles as a still digital camera featuring up to 8-megapixel high sensitivity photo, 5X optical zoom and 4X digital zoom. VZT8320 weighs only 150 grams, which makes it one of the lightest and most compact, high-performance digital video camcorder in its class.

The large 3” LCD screen enables a convenient way for viewing both video and still images. Wide screen playback is optimized with VZT8320’s 16:9 Full HD display mode; both NTSC and PAL are supported.

VZT8320 can be purchased with up to 32GB SDHC memory card, which allows the recording of more than 1.5 hours of high-quality video. This all-in-one camcorder and entertainment device retails at USD$199 and will be ready for shipping in May 2009.

All Tekxon camcorders are designed for ease of use. The units power on and off automatically as you flip open or close the LCD display. Features such as auto focus, fast start-up and one-touch recording are features that allow the users to focus their concentration on the subject matter without having to worry about numerous settings and options.

In line with Tekxon’s user friendly philosophy, careful consideration has been given to the form factors of its camcorders. Measuring just 109 x 80 x 28mm, the VZT8320 travels easy as it takes up very little room and fits conveniently in pockets and/or glove compartments; it requires minimal human input and is ready to capture all those unexpected moments so often missed when dealing with bulky camcorders with clumsy weight and complex settings.

The VZT8320 comes with a standard NP-60 Li-Ion rechargeable battery, a HDMI cable, a conventional video cable, a carrying pouch and a USB cable for data transfer or battery recharging.
