liveBooks Announces Contest at WPPI, Will Give Away Two Free Websites

Company stresses importance of online marketing, commitment to helping photographers grow their businesses

San Francisco, Calif. ─ Feb. 13, 2009 ─ liveBooks, Inc. (www.livebooks.com), the leading provider of portfolio websites and marketing software for professional photographers, will make a splash at Wedding & Portrait Photographers International 2009 with a number of exciting activities.

The company, which is dedicated to helping photographers grow their businesses, will kick off its “Build Your Brand 09” contest at the Las Vegas event, held at the MGM Grand Hotel & Conference Center from Feb. 14 to 19. liveBooks will also post WPPI updates on its new community blog, RESOLVE, sponsor the WPPI & Canon Wedding and Welcome Reception and support a host of liveBooks photographers who will be speaking at the event’s various seminars.

“We hope that our significant involvement at WPPI will remind attendees how important it is to continue their marketing efforts, even in a tough economy,” said Tricia Gellman Holmes, vice president of marketing at liveBooks. “It’s imperative that wedding photographers have easy-to-use tools to deliver a search optimized website that is fresh and up-to-date, with a unique, high-quality look and feel to help their potential clients find them and connect with their work immediately.”

liveBooks will commence its “Build Your Brand 09” contest at the event by providing booth visitors with scratch tickets to win free prizes. Interested parties must visit the URL provided on the back of the scratch ticket to enter the grand prize drawing, from which two individuals will receive a new logo design and liveBooks Unlimited website. Twenty-five others will win rights for life to one song of their choice, courtesy of Triple Scoop Music. Participants may locate a link to the contest on liveBooks’ homepage after WPPI and may register until Feb. 27. Winners will be announced at the end of the month.

To further round out the company’s presence at the show, several liveBooks photographers will speak at WPPI. These individuals include: Jay Goldman, Emilie Sommer, Ann Hamilton, Gene Higa and Damon Tucci.
