Paul Watkins

Paul Watkins hails from Hemel Hempstead and is a Wedding and Portrait Photographer.

He got his first camera, a Kodak Brownie, at the age of 5 and was hooked!

When at college, studying photography, he got more serious with a Zenit B followed by Pentax SP1000. He spent many years in the business working as a Technical Specialist at Kodak and then Gretag Imaging, a Swiss photofinishing equipment manufacturer.

Together with the wedding and portrait photography he likes to photograph unusual things in the local area. His current projects have involved studies in rust, decay and weathered surfaces. He exhibits these images at very successful collaborative Open Studios exhibitions.

A long time Nikon user having had an F801, F5 and a Fuji S2, he now uses a D300 and D70s.
