Custom Brackets announces the CB Gimbal
Custom Brackets has once again designed and manufactured a product that is far ahead of its competition, the CB Gimbal, a modular multi-use long lens support arm that can be used alone or with Arca Swiss type ball heads.
The CB Gimbal is what a gimbal should be, featuring a true roller bearing design for the easiest and smoothest movement in all directions. This allows a long and heavy telephoto lens to be moved smoothly and easily around its centre of gravity for controlled panning and following moving subjects, making this type of head popular for sports or wildlife photographers for example.
Separate drag adjustment and lock are provided for both horizontal and vertical movement of your lenses, using captive soft rubber coated knobs.
A spirit level is included in the base for convenience of levelling when needed; in addition, a set-up lever for the fastest and safest way to balance your long lenses.
And that's not all; the best part of the CB Gimbal is that it’s modular. Not only does it disassemble for easy packing in your bag for travelling, but with the base section removed it can be used with any Arca Swiss type ball head for lenses like the 200mm and 300mm.
The design also allows it to be used as a panoramic head with 360 degree markings for using your camera with a wide angle lens.
The CB Gimbal has it all:
- The capacity to handle the longest lens
- Modular design allows disassembly for easy packing and travel
- Mini-components for complete versatility using any lens application
- The easiest and smoothest movement available
