JJC WR-100 multi-purpose shutter release

The Wildlife Studio are pleased to announce the availability of the JJC WR-100 multi-purpose shutter release.

The WR-100 is both a standard cable release and a wireless remote shutter release with a range of up to 100m.

Wireless radio releases have the advantage that they do not require line of sight to operate, but this means that the receiver unit needs to be powered. The WR-100 overcomes this sometimes expensive problem by including a built-in Li-ion battery pack and includes a dedicated charger and international power adaptor.

As a simple cable release, the WR-100 includes a generous 1m of cable and has no power consumption while a third setting on the receiver unit allows for ‘B’ type exposures with one press to open the shutter and a second press to close it.

Models are available for Canon 3 pin and single jack cameras, Pentax, Samsung and Contax single jack, Nikon 10 pin and Olympus cameras.
