New Firmware Provides Support for Contrast AF On the Interchangeable Lens

LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm/ F1.4 ASPH.(L-X025)

Panasonic is proud to announce a new firmware update service for our interchangeable Lens LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm/ F1.4 ASPH.(L-X025). The LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm/ F1.4 ASPH.(L-X025) is a single focal length lens suitable for snapshots to portraits allowing intended subject to stand out in exquisitely defocused background. Users will be able to download the latest firmware that allows LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm/ F1.4 ASPH.(L-X025) to take advantage of contrast AF when mounted on the Digital SLR cameras with contrast AF that are compatible with Four Thirds standard, such as Panasonic Lumix DMC-L10 Firmware update on the DMC-L10 is necessary to activate the update of the lens. With this update, LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm/ F1.4 ASPH.(L-X025) can be the third LEICA D interchangeable lens corresponding to the contrast AF.
