Hedge Fund Manager turns his hand to photography to help Children with Cancer

148 New Bond Street, London W1S 2JT***
David Yarrow, Managing Director of Clareville Capital Hedge Fund, has launched a new book of breathtaking landscape photographs to raise funds for three children’s charities. Yarrow, better known for his skills in the financial sector, demonstrates a remarkable eye in his ability to capture some of the unique landscapes of the globe. All proceeds from the sale of the book, entitled Nowhere, will go to support the work of CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, Mencap and the Evelina Children’s Hospital Appeal.
Nowhere is a personal photographic study of the world’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes, taken over several years of travelling the globe, images include Mongolia’s Gobi Desert and the Wistmans Wood in Dartmoor.
David Yarrow explains his reasons for putting the book together, “The book does not have lofty ambitions: it is not jumping on the global-warming bandwagon, nor is it trying to compete with the numerous photographic books that adorn coffee table. My trips to some of the world’s most remote corners have been enlightening and reinvigorating and I want to share these experiences with others. This is the goal of the book and of course to raise as much money for three charities very close to my heart.”
Gemma Merton, CLIC Sargent’s Major Event Manager says, “CLIC Sargent is absolutely thrilled to be involved in such a work of art. The images are really inspiring and we are incredibly grateful to David for his continued support to children with cancer over the years.”
David Yarrow is aiming to raise over £200,000 for the three charities through the sale of Nowhere. The book costs £100 and is available by calling Alex Fredjohn at Clareville Capital on +44 20 7976 4330.
