The MF Film Holder: Your Solution for Better Flatbed Scanning of 120/220 Medium Format Film Strips
The MF Film Holder allows you to easily scan a whole strip of 120/220 film frames at one time! It was designed to work with high resolution flatbed scanners like the Epson 2450, 3200, 3170 and newly announced 4870, but will work with other flatbed scanners that have large transparency adapters.
The MF Film Holder allows you to work faster, more efficiently and safely (less chance of handling damage) with your medium format film because you can “batch scan” a whole strip of film at once (up to 202mm in length). It lets you be more efficient doing other tasks while the scanner is scanning multiple images without needing your intervention!
The key feature to the MF Film Holder is its infinitely variable scanning frame size due to its T-lock system. This system adjusts to allow the holder to accept up to 4 “645” frames, 3 “6x6”, 2 “6x7” or 2 “6x9” frames at once. Panoramic images made on 120/220 film are also an option thanks the holder’s 202mm scanning aperture length. The T-Lock system helps maintain flatness with your film because the T-Lock inserts can be placed at any position within the film channel of the MF Film Holderä - even if the film is cut to odd lengths!
This handsome precision laser cut unit is solidly built and will quickly pay for itself by allowing you to be more efficient with your time!
