Is there a Sony Alpha DSLR with an articulating live view screen in the wings?

Rumours coming out of Japan, where yesterday's CES launch of the Sony Alpha A200 entry-level DSLR went unmentioned by Sony Japan, suggest that an alternative to the A200 is in the pipeline. The focus is on the incusion of an articulating LCD screen with live view, a feature noticeable by its absence on the A200. A picture of the screen has been circulated widely (top right). Model names including A250 and A300 have been mentioned, but none have been confirmed. One idea is that the rumoured alternative model has been saved for release at the big PMA trade show at the end of this month. DPNow will, as usual, be reporting direct from the PMA show.
