Harman Photo issued a final call for digital photography competition
Release Issued by Harman Photo:

Last Call For Harman Photo Competition Entries

DPNow says, "Before entering any photographic competition, you should read the fine print of the rules very carefully, in case a claim will be made on the use of and/or copyright of your entry. And beware of ulterior motives to sell you something after the competition has entered. In most cases these concerns are not an issue, but it's always worth checking."

Harman Photo has issued a final call for entries from the UK’s photographers as the judging process for its inaugural digital photography competition draws near. The deadline for entries into the competition is midnight on 31 August, and entries need to be submitted on the new Harman Photo MATT FB Mp inkjet paper.

Howard Hopwood, marketing director at HARMAN technology commented:
“We have had an exciting response so far for the Harman Photo competition, with entries exceeding our expectations in terms of both quality and quantity. We left the artistic theme of the competition wide open to allow photographers to be as creative as they like – and we’ve certainly had an eclectic mix of images so far.”

The Harman Photo range is the only inkjet media in the world to incorporate a Baryta layer and exclusive anti-curl technology, giving inkjet prints the look, feel and essence of a traditional photographic print. Launched in February, the Harman Photo MATT FB Mp enjoyed an enthusiastic reception from the UK’s photographers, and the competition was launched at the Focus on Imaging exhibition where prospective entrants were provided with a free sample pack of the paper.

Since then, a warmtone version of the paper has been launched, which is particularly aimed at black-and-white photography enthusiasts, and the hotly anticipated Harman Photo GLOSS FB Al hits UK shelves from August.

Howard Hopwood added:
“It’s great to see the Harman Photo range take shape. There has been a huge amount of interest in and demand for the gloss paper, so much so that we have brought forward its launch.”

“By the time the competition has been judged, we expect to have at least one more product from the range available, with a fifth to follow before the end of the year.”
