Memorex enters Market for Memory Cards
Bracknell – 26, April 2007 – Memorex, a leading provider of optical media and media accessories, is today launching a range of memory cards for UK businesses.
The range covers formats which are compatible with mobile devices such as digital and video cameras, PDAs and mobile phones. With a quick data transfer and quality filing process the Memorex TravelCards are ideal for companies to transfer and store sensitive corporate information.

The following TravelCards are now available from selected retailers:
Mini SD TravelCard - To meet the demands for greater mobile phone capacity this card holds up to 2GB of storage. With its secured audio encryption specification it also ensures that sensitive data is not tapped into.
SD TravelCard (Secure Digital) - This card is suitable for digital cameras with storage capacities from 256MB to 2GB. Featuring a write protection switch it ensures that photos and other data is secure. The card is also compatible with smart phones, digital and video cameras, PDAs and MP3 players.
Micro SD / TransFlash TravelCard - One of the smallest flash cards available on the market, this device suits mobile phones with a capacity of up to 2GB of secure storage.
MMC / MMC Plus TravelCard - Compatible with any digital device this card has capacity ranging from 128MB to 1GB. The new MMC Plus format bears 11 gold contacts, where as MMC cards originally had seven, resulting in better performance both in terms of speed and capacity.
MMC Mobile TravelCard - Has been designed primarily for use in mobile devices such as smart phones and PDAs and is available from 128MB up to 1GB.
MMC Micro TravelCard - The smallest flash card currently available on the market offers storage capacities of 128, 256 and 512MB.
Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) - Available in capacities ranging from 256MB to 2GB this card is compatible with the majority of MP3 players.
