More than 120 budding David Bailey’s entered by bringing their images to the Watergate Row based MCC Chester store.

The overall winner of the competition, which was launched on St.Valentine’s Day, was Lorraine Kay of Warrington with a photo of Chester’s Eastgate Clock. The judges described the image as ‘an iconic picture of Chester’ and Lorraine, who entered in the over 18 I love Chester category, won a £200 voucher for the MCC Chester store.

“I have next to no photographic experience, so I am delighted that my photo has won the competition.
