ICI Imagedata, the specialist manufacturer of digital imaging products, is showing its latest range of films, papers and printers for digital imaging at Paperworld 2007.
New improved range of Permanent Papers - The Tough Stuff
Unlike ordinary paper, Permanent Papers are produced from high grade polyester film, giving them exceptional durability, water- and tear-resistance.
Thanks to their toughness and flexibility, they are ideal for printing items that must stand up to difficult environments and heavy handling, such as manuals, maps and charts, menus and signs, loyalty cards, luggage tags, plant labels, calendars ... and much much more. They can even be used underwater!
Permanent Papers can be digitally printed using digital presses, copiers or laser printers, or printed by traditional offset litho or screen printing producing quality long life items without the need for lamination or encapsulation.
The latest range of papers has been enhanced to offer improved performance:

Olmec D2T2 Photo Printers are the fast, convenient way to generate photo prints in-house. Designed for simple, easy operation, they use dye sublimation technology to produce excellent quality, full-bleed photographic images in as little as 8 seconds per print.

ICI Imagedata is also showing its award-winning range of photo quality inkjet papers, which are available in own brand packaging to OEMs, distributors and retailers.
The inkjet photo papers are available in a wide selection of weights and finishes, including gloss, satin and matt finishes in a variety of standard sizes ranging from 6 x 4 to A2 cut sheets, as well as mini, medium and wide format reels. The range includes the popular 260gsm photo paper, available in gloss and satin, which has won DIMA awards for image quality for the last two years.
ICI offers a complete private label service, including packaging design and production, and currently supplies many leading retail chains in the UK and Europe.
