Pentax Announces Two New Spotting Scope Series In Advance Of Shot Show 2007

GOLDEN, CO (December 14, 2006)…PENTAX Imaging Company has announced two new series of spotting scopes that offer exceptional image performance for outdoor observation.

The PENTAX Spotting Scope PF-63ZOOM is a compact, lightweight spotting scope perfect for outdoor viewing. Featuring a bright field of view, rubber coating and JIS Class 6 waterproof construction, this PENTAX spotting scope uses a 63mm compact objective lens and offers increased mobility by making the eyepiece integrated with the body.

Featuring Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass, the high performance PENTAX PF-65 series of spotting scopes include the PF-65ED II (straight-line type) and the PF-65ED-A II (angled type). Each offer a high-level balance between exceptional image performance and image quality for field use or for conducting zoom photography when connected to a digital camera.

PENTAX Imaging Company will preview the new line at the 2007 SHOT SHOW®, the world's premier exposition of firearms, ammunition, archery, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, camping and related products and services. The PENTAX PF-63ZOOM will be available under $400 and the PENTAX PF-65EDII/PF-65ED-A II will be available under $650. All products will ship in February 2007.
