Crucial Technology Europe Introduces Hi-Speed USB Flash Card Readers
Online memory leader enhances card reader line with Hi-Speed 7-in-1 and single-slot card readers
Glasgow, UK, 10 September 2003 - Crucial Technology Europe, one of Europe's largest direct memory upgrade providers, today introduced three new Hi-Speed USB flash card readers. Crucial's new Hi-Speed USB readers make it easy to transfer digital data from flash memory cards directly to a desktop computer or notebook at speeds up to 480 megabits per second (Mbps), 40 times faster than original USB card readers.

Crucial Hi-Speed USB card readers offer a true Plug and Play solution, appearing automatically as a removable drive when plugged in to a USB port. To achieve maximum speed capabilities, the card readers require a 2.0 USB port and an operating system supporting USB 2.0. If the operating system and computer's USB port do not support USB 2.0, the card reader operates at original USB speeds.
