The new, smaller, Zuiko Digital 14-42mm (28-84 equiv) f/3.5-5.6 kit zoom lens extends quite a bit from wide to tele ends of the focal length range. The good news is that the new lens focuses usefully closer than the old Zuiko Digital 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 (28-90 equiv) standard zoom.
