Epson® launches three high-quality and versatile all-in-one solutions for the home
The new Epson Stylus DX range of all-in-ones include the Epson Stylus DX6000 Series, DX5000 Series and DX4000 Series. The All-in-Ones deliver high quality, low cost printing with scanning and copying capabilities for the home.
17th August 2006 - Epson is launching three new All-in-One solutions to ensure there is a model that will best suit everyone’s needs. The Epson Stylus DX6000 Series is ideal for a wide range of printing needs from documents to photo printing. The Stylus DX5000 Series is perfectly suited for everyday printing and copying, whilst the Stylus DX4000 Series offers an economical solution if you are a first time printer owner or print in low volumes.
All three models feature Epson DURABrite™ Ultra ink, a print resolution up to 5760x1440dpi together with Epson’s unique Micro Piezo™ technology. The laser-like print quality output is highly durable and is smudge, fade and water resistant on either plain or photo paper. As with all of Epson’s new consumer printer range for 2006, the four individual ink cartridges costing from only £6.99 each ensure they are designed with efficiency in mind - you save money and only replace the colour you use.
The Stylus DX Series features Epson PhotoEnhance, which automatically detects errors and impurities in your photo and corrects your photo accordingly to produce perfect results every time. Epson Creativity Suite software helps you to easily manage, file and print your photos. With its user-friendly interface you can access your images from a range of devices such as a digital camera or scanner and file them into projects and groups, without the need for multiple windows.
Epson Easy Photo Fix™ scanning technology is also included for restoring faded, old and damaged photos to their original state. Also included is ABBYY FineReader® Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software so you can easily convert scanned documents into text on your computer.
The Epson Stylus DX6000 Series offers standalone photo printing with digital camera memory card slots and PictBridge. It features a 2.0” colour LCD viewer so you can easily choose the photos you wish to print. With a print speed of up to 27 pages per minute and a photo print speed of just 28 seconds, you won’t have to wait long for your prints. You can also create high-quality digital scans from the 1200dpi scanner.
The Epson Stylus DX5000 Series offers fast printing speeds of up to 27 pages per minute and a photo print speed of just 28 seconds. It features memory card slots and PictBridge so you can print direct from your digital camera without the need for a computer. You can also create high-quality digital scans from the 1200dpi scanner.
The Epson Stylus DX4000 Series prints up to 23 pages per minute and features a scanner with a resolution up to 600dpi. It is an ideal printing solution for a home environment where quality, flexibility and cost matter.
