Samsung Techwin Released Standard Digital Camera Series 'S' Aiming at World Market
Samsung Techwin (CEO Joong Koo Lee), which released premium digital camera NV series on July 4th and is expected to lead the digital camera market on the second half of the year 2006, announced that its standard digital cameras 'S700 and S1000' will be released at the end of July.

'S700 and S1000' are digital cameras that have been developed within the concept of 'Family's Digital Camera' providing 7 and 10 million pixels of high resolution with easy-to-use interface so that anyone can easily take a picture.

'S700 and S1000' provide the 'Special Effect Key' enabling various special effects with a single button such as color control, photo partitioning, photo frame, etc., as well as the Quick Mode Dial which allows for easier switch between Portrait, Night and Camcorder modes.
Also, the new S series supports high sensitivity ISO 1000 allowing users to capture a perfectly image of moving objects even in low light.
In addition, a 2.5" TFT LCD has been adopted to satisfy the needs of customers who want larger and clearer screens. Furthermore, the 'S700 and S1000' support direct printing through a photo printer so that users can directly connect the camera to it and print the pictures just taken.
'S700 and S1000', as family cameras, provide such a powerful video recording (MPEG, VGA, 30fps) function that they can be used instead of a camcorder.
Furnished with 7 and 10 million pixels of resolution, the 'S700 and S1000' offers built-in video editing function as well as video recording so that users can resume recording or cut video without connecting it to a PC for enabling higher quality video.
'S700 and S1000' provide powerful sense of grip even though they are so compact that their width is less than 10cm and thickness is 26.4mm allowing users to take a picture anywhere, anytime, in any position.
