Guinness World Records awards the AV380 'the Worlds Highest Capacity Multimedia Jukebox'
(Editor’s note: The Archos AV300 is primarily marketed as a multimedia jukebox for playing digitised music and video, but through the use of memory card adapters available for the AV300, it can also be used for backing up memory cards and viewing them using the AV300’s LCD view screen.)
Archos were awarded the World Record for their AV380 PVPR (Personal Video Player Recorder) in the category Worlds Highest Capacity Multimedia Jukebox.
The unit is the highest capacity of the AV300 Series of Multimedia Jukeboxes and was world wide launch of the unit was premiered on QVC (Britain's premier shopping channel) this weekend 16th August 2003 in the Today's special value slot.

The highest capacity multimedia jukebox available to date is the AV380, with 80 GB of storage space on its internal hard drive. Created by Archos (France), the AV380 can store and play MP3 music tracks as well as MPEG4 video files. It was launched in August 2003
