Jobo’s NEW Giga ONE offers photographers an inexpensive portable backup facility, with a 30GB hard drive and 10-in-1 card interface for direct transfer from camera memory cards.

The stylish and compact aluminium housing makes the Giga ONE small and light enough to easily fit into your pocket. Transfer speeds are amongst the fastest available with a full 1GB CF card taking just 7 minutes to transfer to the unit’s hard drive. As the transfer takes place, the LCD screen shows the current status with indicators for percentage of transfer completed, amount of data being transferred in MB, battery level and space remaining on the units hard drive. There are also indicators showing which card type is inserted and whether a USB connection has been made between the Giga ONE and a computer.

The Giga ONE can be used as an external hard drive for your computer or even a 10-in-1 multi-card reader with its High Speed USB 2.0 interface. The three card slots on the Giga ONE support the following media cards without the need for additional adapters; CompactFlash I & II cards, Microdrive, SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, MS Duo, XD, SM.
