More cameras supported by Adobe Camera Raw 3.2
by Ian Burley

New Leica and Konica Minolta camera models are now supported by Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop and Nikon DSLR support has been improved.

Adobe has released version 2.0 of its Camera Raw support for Adobe Photoshop version CS2, Elements 3.0 and Elements 4.0, the latter of which was announced yesterday. Key additions to the list of supported cameras include the Konica Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 5D and Panasonic's new DMC-LX1 and FZ30 models.

An interesting inclusion is the Leica D-Lux 2, Leica's remodelled version of the Panasonic DMC-LX1, which hasn't even been formally launched by Leica. The Leica Modul R SLR-DSLR upgrade is now supported too.

In co-operation with Nikon, Adobe is now providing Nikon DSLR users with improved white balance support after the much-publicised spat between Adobe and Nikon regarding the latter's attempt to prevent third party RAW process software developers from accessing this data.

Adobe Camera Raw 3.2 is available for free download from Adobe's web site.
