Fantasea Line announce two new underwater housings

Fantasea Line International is pleased to announce the launch of two new underwater housings now ready for delivery worldwide.

The CP-8 underwater housing is purpose designed for the Nikon Coolpix 8700 and 5700 digital cameras. The CP-8N is for the Nikon Coolpix 8800 digital camera.

The CP-8 and CP-8N housings are designed with a unique air lock system for sealing the camera and allowing the water to exert an even pressure on the O-ring, thus increasing the reliability of the watertight seal.

The Fantasea CP-8 and CP-8N housings are rated to a maximum working depth of 90m/300 ft. These injection molded housings are constructed to take the rigorous environments that underwater and outdoor photographers experience, and will protect digital cameras in these demanding activities.

The CP-8 and CP-8N features:
Full camera control functions including:

  • On/Off Mode select, Macro/wide angle and zoom function. Playback and trash function

  • Nikonos 5 pin socket for hot shoe connection for external flash

  • Ergonomically designed handle that supports a flexible arm for attaching an external flash

  • Visible main O-ring for final pre-dive check

  • Double O-ring design on all controls
