Building on the success of the Epson Stylus Photo R300, Epson introduces the new Epson Stylus Photo R320, with new features including a preview screen.
June 2005 – The Epson Stylus Photo R320 builds on the success of one of Epson’s most popular photo printers – the Epson Stylus Photo R300. Combining long lasting premium quality photo printing with superior ease-of-use, the Epson Stylus Photo R320 now includes a colour LCD preview screen, which displays photos from memory cards. This allows the user to choose, crop and print their photos. This standalone functionality makes printing 6x4in, 7x5in and A4 photos easy without the need for a computer.
Offering maximum flexibility, the Stylus Photo R320 supports Pictbridge technology and USB DIRECT-PRINT, making the printer compatible with a wide range of digital cameras available on the market. The Stylus Photo R320 supports most popular memory card types, without the need for any special adapters. Photos can be selected from a memory card and printed and edited at the touch of a button.
As well as supporting a wide range of memory cards, photos can also be transferred to the printer via the high-speed USB 2.0 interface or via Bluetooth1, enabling direct printing of photos that have been captured on compatible mobile phones or digital cameras. Bundled with Epson Creativity Suite, the latest photo printing and editing software from Epson, it offers simple and intuitive printing, editing and image file management through a PC..
The Stylus Photo R320 features Epson’s advanced MicroPiezoTM print head technology and is capable of producing a 10x15cm photo in just 39 seconds. In addition with resolution of 5760dpi2, even in standalone mode, superb lab style photos are quick and easy.
The Epson Stylus Photo R320 features six individual ink cartridges, so users only need replace the ink that has been used, making the Epson Stylus Photo R320 one of the most cost-efficient solutions on the market. Also available is a new convenient ink cartridge multipack containing all six ink cartridges in one package. The optional multipack will provide additional savings of up to 40% versus buying each cartridge separately (Based on Epson RRP of £39.69 inc VAT).
The Epson Stylus Photo R320 also offers a direct CD printing function to create professional looking CDs, DVDs using Epson Print CD software.3
