To Meet the requirements of digital photographers

Lastolite are pleased to introduce two new reflector surfaces specifically designed for digital photographers for the Tri Grip and Reflector Range, they are Sunlite and Soft Silver.

After research Lastolite found that digital cameras were more susceptible and sensitive to light. Lastolite realized that the existing Silver was too strong and harsh for digital cameras and it needed to be slightly softer, but that white is too soft. Designers then created the Soft Silver Surface. This is a strip of Silver mixed with a strip of white and gives the benefits of a more gentle touch.

Digital is also much more susceptible to yellow, this means that the traditional reflector surfaces Sunfire (one strip Gold and one strip silver) and Gold are too strong for a digital camera. Lastolite therefore introduced the new Sunlite surface. Sunlite consists of two strips of silver to one strip of gold the results are a subtle warming tone without the gold being too dominant. The photographs below show the results of all the reflector surfaces.
