Kingston Launches MMCplus and Larger Capacity MMC
Release Issued by Kingston:

Supporting Booming Digital Device Markets

March 21, 2005, Kingston Technology, the world’s leading independent memory manufacturer, today announced the further expansion of its digital media product offerings with the new MMCplus cards in 256-MB, 512-MB and 1-GB capacities and the 256-MB MultiMediaCard (MMC) card.

Based on the high-speed MMC card format, the new MMCplus cards offer increased performance and flexibility. MMCplus is based on the latest MultiMediaCard System Specification Version 4.0.
