Sekonic Announce Release of L-308S Light Meter.

JP Distribution are pleased to announce the new L-308S light Meter from Sekonic. This new meter is a direct replacement for the Flashmate L-308 BII and still maintains the same small size, lightweight and one hand operation of its predecessor as well as many of the other existing features including:
• Built in sliding Lumisphere, which provides easy changeover from incident to reflected light measuring: Lumidisc provided for contrast measuring.
• Cord or cordless flash measuring.
• Single mode selection button for setting ambient or flash measuring.
• +_ 0.1 EV repeat accuracy.
• Energy efficient AA battery operation
• Supplied with Lumidisc, case, neck cord and battery.

New Features:
The L-308S has numerous new features which make this latest exposure meter easier to use and more accurate. The new features are as follows:
• ½ or 1/3 step selectable reading to match your digital or film cameras with customisable setting.
• The battery indicator and ISO settings are permanently displayed on the larger, clearer LCD panel which is now easier to read and able to show more information.
• The 1/10 step reading is displayed in digital instead of analogue dot.
Other features include:
• Quick switching between incident and reflected metering.
• EV reading.
• Shutter speed priority.
• Auto power off (approximately 4 minutes after last used)
• Cine speed (f/s) settings.

Price and Availability:
Stock will be available from the end of January 2005 and the Suggested Retail Price for the L-308S will be the same as the current L-308 BII of £139.99 including VAT.
