ArcSoft Inc., the leading provider of digital imaging software, has announced the availability of ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5.5, a new version of the company’s flagship image editing product.
The new version is a full-featured yet easy-to-use photo editing application for Windows, providing new features, commands, tools and functions that deliver significant performance enhancements for users to edit and enhance their digital pictures.

ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5.5 has the ability to preview enhancements and effects in real-time, eliminating guesswork and decreasing the amount of time spent editing. In addition, PhotoStudio 5.5 includes several new sets of effects, which allow users to create unique designs and manipulate photos in unusual ways. The built-in ArcSoft 3D Text Factory™ plug-in allows custom 3D titles and captions to be added to any image.
Also expanded is the traditional ArcSoft album feature for sorting and previewing photos. An all-inclusive browser now lets users preview albums, as well as any folder on their system. Contact sheets can easily be printed for catalogue or archival purposes.
The program retains virtually every tool from previous versions, organizing them in a more intuitive way to keep the desktop space manageable. The various palettes and windows are movable to allow a user-defined workspace.
