There are three compact digital cameras in my household and you can easily tell which is the newest because it has the least scratches and marks on it.

A decent protective pouch case for your compact camera is a must, especially if you intend to protect its resale value.

From next month, the British camera bag maker, Camera Care Systems, is introducing three new ‘Digipouches’ aimed at users of compact digicams. They’re all under a tenner and should accommodate the majority of the current compact cameras on the market. Size matters

YOU may be finding it hard to find a pouch that will fit your equipment with the ever-decreasing size of digital cameras these days. But CCS has come to the rescue with three new Digipouches – specifically designed for small and slimline digital cameras.

Part of the FreeStyle range, the smallest pouch will fit cameras such as the Pentax Optios or Canon’s Digital Ixus cameras (FS20). The Fuji FinePix 40i or F401 will fit the square-shaped pouch (FS21) and the Ricoh Caplio RR10, Canon S40 or Kodak’s LS420 are perfect for the bigger, longer pouch (FS22).

A new feature to the Digipouches is the ‘easy access opening’ that enables you to remove and replace your camera without the fiddly fastenings. All pouches feature an elasticated twin pocket on the front that is ideal for storage of memory cards or batteries.

The pouches offer incredibly good value and cost just £7.99 (FS20),  £8.99(FS21) and £9.99 (FS22).

The pouches are available in dark blue and feature the unique Dri-Flex weather protection lid which is used in all FreeStyle bags and rucksacks. The elasticated lid minimises water penetration through seams however harsh the elements.

All CCS bags feature a 30-year guarantee covering workmanship and materials. All three bags will be available from September.
