Crucial Technology, the direct selling arm of memory chip and module manufacturer, Micron Technology, has extended its MultiMedia Card (MMC) range to include a 128MB card. MMC cards can usually be used with digital cameras that are compatible with Secure Digital (SD) cards and the card standard is often referred to as SD/MMC.

Crucial’s European Marketing Manager, Roddy McLean, commented: “As digital electronic devices become smaller and more complex, MMC is becoming more prominent in the flash market. We've extended our flash line to include a 128MB MultiMediaCard, allowing our customers to store even more data, with the comfort that comes with ordering from the Memory Experts.”

A comprehensive compatibility check database is offered by Crucial on its newly redesigned Web site. The new 128MB MMC card is currently priced £64.79 excluding VAT if ordered online. Post and packaging to customers in the UK is currently free.

DP-Now is an affiliate of Crucial Technology and you can generate important commission revenue for this site by ordering memory products, including cards for digital cameras and PC memory, via the banners on DP-Now pages (see the one below, for example).
