I have more shots of the Leica Summilux 25mm f/1.4 here.
(Above) Mr. Mamoru Yoshida, head of Panasonic's Lumix digital still camera division, holds a pre-production 25mm Leica D Summilux 25mm f/1.4 Asph (50mm f/1.4 equivalent) lens that will be on sale in the spring of next year for users of Four Thirds standard digital SLRs.
The 25mm f/1.4 Summilux has an aperture ring and sports ten lens elements in 9 groups, inlcuding one super ED and three standard ED elements, plus one large diameter aspheric element, a lens element type Panasonic specialises in manufacturing in-house.
At the same time, Mr.Yoshida announced that the Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm f/2.8-3.5 Asph (28-100 f/2.8-3.5 equivalent), currently only available bundled with the Panasonic Lumix L1 or newly-announced Leica Digilux 3 Four Thirds DSLRs, will be made available from December as a stand alone product for users of other Four Thirds DSLRs, like Olympus E-series models. No pricing is yet available.
