Sometimes you get a lucky break, we were returning home through the countryside yesterday and I stopped close to the village green. I walked back towards a windmill with camera in hand and a gentleman who followed me from the car asked if I had come to photograph the windmill. He kindly invited me to come in the grounds and photograph the building. The weather earlier was bright with almost cloudless skies but as Anne and I ventured in the weather took an ugly view dark moody skies.
Im not sure if they helped the snowy conditions but we were most pleased to have got our invite.

Re: Windmill

Nice. Looks cold and crisp. Second is more striking.

Re: Windmill

Nice windmill, and an accommodating owner, Barr1e.

Pity the sky was grey. They looks so good against a blue sky.
