Re: Adding additional RAM

I have just done a search and found this:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/13207..._in_vista.html

I now remember that a wizard did appear but I didn't follow it through because you didn't mention it.

I haven't got time now, but shall I go down that route Roger?

Thanks Audrey

Hi Audrey
Partitioning must be done with the appropriate software otherwise all your info will be lost, which is fine if you have everything fully backed up.
Should be doing that anyway.

Yes, sorry Audrey, I should have been more explicit and talked you through the wizard. It is very easy to follow.

Re: Adding additional RAM

Hello Roger,

I did it last night and I now have an "S" drive.

I feel very pleased with myself and you.

I have given CS3 "S" as my scratch drive and then put "E" the recovery drive as the 2nd choice. Is that OK.

Thanks.

Finally I installed SP1 for Vista yesterday and the speed of my Internet haas rocketed. I am getting there ... ...
