The Portal page is going to be modified on all the forums, it's not really operating as well as a portal page should - there are lots of options we've not used yet to pack as much useful information and links to popular threads and resources... watch this space

I am not referring to Email newsletters, one of those everyday would be a nightmare.

I am talking about just one daily post, as opposed to the 10 or 20 or so at present. For me, its an irration, I see very few responses to them. If people really are interested in them, I would say they could regularly visit the main site, its what I do if I want to check out any news.

It just means that the normal forum posts get lost when using the 'new posts' button.

One daily update posted in the forum to me makes more sense (and surely less work for you), but hey, if I am in a minority, and you dont want to change it, I am happy to live with it!
