Photo critique Here is where you can display your images and seek the comment, advice and, maybe, constructive critique of your work. Only post your images here if you are happy for frank feedback. If in doubt, use the beginners board instead. Only post your comments here if you feel you can make a constructive and polite contribution in response to what is, for some, a leap of faith in exposing their work to your critical comment.

Re: Nightvisions

JMO but judging by the sky I would have expected a bit more brightness in the lower half. It would have to be just right so as not to spoil the effect of the artificial lights.

Re: Nightvisions

Thanks for the comments ..... it was late, around 9:30pm and the sun had gone down about 20 minutes beforehand. We were driving back from the coast through some lanes, and came across two tractors working the fields. They are bailing up the large silage bails that they keep for the winter cattle feed. I did try lightening it up a bit, but the sky started to get blown out.

I'll have to post up some of the sunset pics .... it was amazing .... it looked like the sky was on fire !

Bit of a shame these were done so late after the sunset. I think it would have been fab about half an hour earlier. On hindsight we should have stuck with these the first time we saw them. looking forward to seeing the sunset ones you have though, maybe those will have made it worth while.
